This flower is so common that it has very many names - over 70 - Crow toes, Lady's shoe and stocking, God Almighty's thumb and finger, bacon and eggs, to name but a few. Its common name derives from the flowers resemblance to a birds foot and that it has leaves in sets of three (it actually has two more at the base of each leaf stalk!).
